Falls Church was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 22-11 to the Mount Vernon Majors. On the bright side, the 11- run performance marked the Jaguars' highest-scoring match to date.

Falls Church's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mount Vernon, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Falls Church will head out to challenge Justice at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mount Vernon, they will venture away from home to face off against Osbourn at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.67 runs per game on average), something the Majors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
