Burges has gone 9-1 against El Paso recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Burges Mustangs will head out on the road to take on the El Paso Tigers at 7:30 p.m.

Burges is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Andress just ended the team's nine-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 2-1. Having soared to a lofty seven goals in the game before, the Mustangs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, El Paso kept a clean sheet against Jefferson on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Silver Foxes. Considering the Tigers have won seven games by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

El Paso is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season. Burges' loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-3.

Burges beat El Paso 2-0 when the teams last played on February 7th. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burges since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
