Volleyball Recap: Wessington Springs Comes Up Short

Wessington Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Bridgewater/Emery Huskies. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Huskies from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-11, 25-11.

Wessington Springs' loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Bridgewater/Emery, the win keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Coming up, Wessington Springs will face off against Ethan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bridgewater/Emery, they will be playing at home against Sioux Falls Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Huskies their first taste of in-conference action this season.
