A Season-Best Effort from Dash Beierly Leads Mater Dei over Jserra Catholic

Mater Dei was led to victory by Dash Beierly, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Beierly threw for 160 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 66 yards and a touchdown.

The victory for Mater Dei keeps them at an undefeated 7-0. Beierly and Mater Dei will be playing at home against St. John Bosco at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Quaid Carr Goes Supernova in Servite Defeat

While Quaid Carr delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Servite. Nobody could stop Carr as he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 60 yards.

Carr is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Orange Lutheran on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Carr saw the Lancers), he rushed for 156 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also picked up 30 receiving yards.

Dash Fifita Delivers Best Performance of Season

Sadly, Dash Fifita posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Santa Margarita over Orange Lutheran on Friday. Fifita picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made 19 total tackles.

Santa Margarita is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5. Fifita and Santa Margarita will challenge JSerra Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Big Game from Malau'ulu As St. John Bosco Won 27-17

Koa Malau'Ulu was instrumental in extending St. John Bosco's winning streak to eight on Friday. Servite had no answer to Malau'Ulu as he threw for 217 yards and three touchdowns.

St. John Bosco pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Malau'Ulu will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Mater Dei on Friday.

Marcus Fakatou Turns in Season-Best Performance

On Friday, Orange Lutheran got the W thanks in part to Marcus Fakatou playing the best football he has all season. Fakatou picked up three sacks and made three total tackles.

Orange Lutheran's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Fakatou and Orange Lutheran will stay at home for another week and welcome Servite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
