Baseball Recap: McGregor Takes a Loss

McGregor fell victim to Clifton and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cubs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cubs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-6 on March 12th.

McGregor's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-7-1. As for Clifton, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-6 record.

While McGregor had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
