Baseball Recap: Coronado Comes Up Short

Coronado played against Jemez Valley on Thursday and lost via forfeit.

This is the second loss in a row for Coronado and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Jemez Valley, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.

Coming up, Coronado will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Elida at 11:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Jemez Valley, they will welcome Navajo Pine at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 16.53 runs per game on average), something the Warrior will no doubt try to take advantage of.
