Basketball Recap: Newfound Regional Comes Up Short

Newfound Regional lost against Belmont last Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Newfound Regional Bears lost 44-18 to the Belmont Red Raiders. The Bears' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Newfound Regional's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Belmont, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9.

While Newfound Regional had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
