Basketball Recap: Bovina Comes Up Short

Bovina was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 67-27 loss at the hands of the Farwell Steers. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-10.

Bovina's loss dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Farwell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-5.

Bovina will be playing at home against Lockney at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farwell, they are taking a road trip to face off against Olton at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
