Basketball Recap: Notus Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Notus came into Friday's game having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 30-26 win over the North Star Huskies on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Pirates: when they faced off against the Huskies back in November of 2024, they had to take a 27-23 loss.

Notus' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Libni Vargas led the charge by putting up nine points. Victoria Zamora was another key player, earning three points and six assists.
