Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Northrop Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Fort Wayne Northrop posted their closest win since August 30th on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Fairfield Falcons 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bruins as it spelled an end to their four-match losing streak.

Jersey Webb paced Fort Wayne Northrop's offense, picking up 14 kills. Webb got some help from Madison Corley and her 19 assists. Webb was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Fort Wayne Northrop's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Fairfield, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Fort Wayne Northrop will venture away from home to square off against Homestead at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fairfield, they will square off against Mishawaka Marian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
