On Friday, Hagerman faced Butte County in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Hagerman Pirates enjoyed a cozy 30-14 victory over the Butte County Pirates. The 30-point effort marked Hagerman's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
