It's playoff time, and Phoenix Christian had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Tombstone Yellow Jackets on Saturday, sneaking past 7-6. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matches in a row.

Ryne Viscum was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two RBI and one run. Another player making a difference was Nate Burton, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Phoenix Christian's victory bumped their record up to 25-4. As for Tombstone, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 20-8-1 record.

As of now, neither Phoenix Christian nor the Yellow Jackets have any future games scheduled.
