Basketball Recap: Pike County Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Marley Headley and Kerrah Foster

Pike County lost against Jackson back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pike County Pirates lost 62-38 to the Jackson Red Devils.

Pike County's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kerrah Foster, who posted 11 points, and Marley Headley, who had 12 points. What's more, Headley also racked up two steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Sadie Lewis was another key player, putting up three points.

Pike County dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Jackson, the victory snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 8-18 record.

As of now, neither Pike County nor Jackson have any future games scheduled.
