Luperon put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took down the Inwood Academy Trailblazers 76-62. Given Luperon's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 38th, while Inwood Academy is ranked 292nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Luperon pushed their record up to 10-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 87.8 points per game. As for Inwood Academy, they moved to 4-3 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.
