Recap: Tree of Life Christian Trojans vs. Liberty Christian Academy Eagles
The Tree of Life Christian Trojans's game back in December of 2023 was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They greeted the New Year with with a 32-16 victory over Liberty Christian Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Tree of Life Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Liberty Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Shelby Carr, who scored eight points along with 23 rebounds and four steals. Carr scored a full 50% of Liberty Christian Academy's points, the ninth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Tree of Life Christian's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-5. As for Liberty Christian Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tree of Life Christian won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Ridgedale at 4:30 p.m. on January 6th. Liberty Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Horizon Science Academy at 5:00 p.m. on January 6th. Hopefully Horizon Science Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday.
