Lakeland Christian's game last Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. Everything went their way against the Winter Haven Blue Devils as the Lakeland Christian Vikings made off with a 5-1 victory. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Winter Haven with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Adrian Villanueva (2), Avery Cassell, Landon Harrell, and Brayden Gathwright.

Lakeland Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. As for Winter Haven, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7-3.

Lakeland Christian will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Santa Fe Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 28th. As for Winter Haven, they will square off against Ridge Community at 8:15 p.m. on January 24th. Ridge Community will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Winter Haven surely won't give up without a fight.
