            Volleyball Recap: Worthington Trojans vs. Willmar Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Worthington managed to slip by Willmar the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Trojans came up short against  the Cardinals on Wednesday, falling  3-0.
 Worthington took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12,  25-19.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Willmar to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Jordan Blahosky, who  had 15  digs and three assists. That's the most  digs  Blahosky has posted  over her last eight  contests.  Mallory Beier was another key player,  getting five  digs and five  aces.
Worthington has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record  this season. As for Willmar, they pushed their record up to 20-8 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home.
 Worthington does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Willmar, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  3-0  win against Mankato East on the 24th.
