Softball Recap: Arcadia Takes a Loss

Arcadia lost against Hopewell-Loudon back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Redskins fell just short of the Chieftains by a score of 5-4.

Alexis Carter made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season.

Arcadia now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season.

Arcadia will head out to square off against Cory-Rawson at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Hopewell-Loudon, they will be playing at home against Bellevue at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Chieftains are facing the Redmen at the right time seeing as the Redmen are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
