Gregori has gone 9-1 against Modesto recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Jaguars will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Gregori is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.

Gregori is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Enochs just ended the team's seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 10-6 to the Eagles. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Jaguars, who until this contest were averaging 3.93 runs allowed.

Angelina Hoffman was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Modesto came up short against Pitman on Thursday and fell 10-5.

Alyssa Ramirez was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Aaliyah Williams and Kayla Contreras did some serious damage despite the final result: Williams scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Contreras went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one stolen base.

Gregori's loss dropped their record down to 12-3. As for Modesto, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-13.

Modesto's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Gregori has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Modesto, though, as they've been averaging 9.3 hits. Given Gregori's sizable advantage in that area, the Panthers will need to find a way to close that gap.

Gregori took their victory against Modesto in their previous meeting back in March by a conclusive 10-0 score. Will the Jaguars repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
