Basketball Game Preview: Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs vs. De La Salle Meteors

The Riverside-Brookfield Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the De La Salle Meteors at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Riverside-Brookfield is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.

On Saturday, Riverside-Brookfield narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Lyons 69-66. That's two games straight that the Bulldogs have won by exactly three points.

Meanwhile, De La Salle came up short against Glenbrook South on Saturday and fell 58-47.

Riverside-Brookfield has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.8 points per game. As for De La Salle, they now have a losing record at 9-10.

Riverside-Brookfield came up short against De La Salle when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 75-66. Can Riverside-Brookfield avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
