The Menlo School Knights will challenge the Woodland Christian Cardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a ten-game winning streak alive.
Menlo School is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Las Lomas get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory.

Menlo School got a great performance from Jackson Flanagan as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over six innings pitched. Those six strikeouts gave Flanagan a new career-high.
On the hitting side, Menlo School saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Freehill, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Freehill is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last seven games he's played.
Meanwhile, Woodland Christian got the win against Durham on Tuesday by a conclusive 10-0. The result was nothing new for the Cardinals, who have now won 22 games by eight runs or more so far this season.
Jayden Badhesha made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Badhesha was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI.
In other batting news, Woodland Christian let Jordan Villanueva and Jandro Torres run wild. Villanueva went 1-for-2 with three runs and one stolen base, while Torres went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Tessier, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases and one run.
Woodland Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Durham only posted an OBP of .300.
Woodland Christian's win was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-6. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.6 runs over those games. As for Menlo School, their record is now 22-8.
