Basketball Preview: Thunder Basin Bolts vs. Central Indians
After three games on the road, Thunder Basin is heading back home. They and the Central Indians will face off at 7:00 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard on Friday.
Last Saturday, Thunder Basin took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 74-28 victory over the Bison. That looming 74-28 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Thunder Basin yet this season.
Meanwhile, Central put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on Sheridan with a sharp 78-58 win. Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.
Thunder Basin's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Central, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-0.
