Volleyball Recap: Zephyrhills Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Zephyrhills came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the River Ridge Royal Knights. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their loss to the Royal Knights from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-20, 25-8.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead River Ridge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jenna Boggs, who had eight digs and eight assists. Jessica Jacobs was another key player, getting 13 digs and three assists.

Zephyrhills has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. As for River Ridge, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Looking ahead, Zephyrhills will head out to take on Wiregrass Ranch at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for River Ridge, they will host Mitchell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
