Indian Land posted their biggest victory since December 11, 2024 on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Northwestern Trojans 83-52. The win continues a trend for the Warriors in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won five in a row.

It was another big night for Michael Jones, who went 10 for 16 on his way to 27 points and three steals. He has been hot recently, having posted 23 or more points the last four times he's played. Sequel Patterson was another key player, putting up 14 points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Northwestern saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Grant Pursley went 12 of 24 en route to 26 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Pursley has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jayshawn Reid, who posted six points.

Indian Land's victory bumped their record up to 19-2. As for Northwestern, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-12.
