Volleyball Recap: Sylmar Beats Van Nuys for Their Third Straight Win

Sylmar had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Van Nuys Wolves with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Sylmar not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Van Nuys between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 25-17.

Sylmar's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Van Nuys, they dropped their record down to 1-17 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home.

Looking ahead, Sylmar will challenge Kennedy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Van Nuys, they will take on Triumph Charter in a tournament on Saturday.
