Softball Recap: Scranton Knights vs. North Pocono Trojans
Scranton extended their losing streak to ten on Monday, dropping their season record down to 1-10 in the process. They came up short against the North Pocono Trojans, falling 16-4. The Knights were not able to make up for their defeat to the Trojans from their previous meeting back in April of 2022.

For North Pocono's part, Anna Clementoni and Areilla Bell made a splash no matter where they played. In other batting news, North Pocono let Ellie Ambrosecchia and Avarie Roscioli run wild. Ambrosecchia went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs, while Roscioli went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI Ambrosecchia has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Adysen Iyoob, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double.
Looking ahead, Scranton will be playing in front of their home fans against West Scranton at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Pocono, they will head out to square off against Abington Heights at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
