Football Game Preview: Hall Titans vs. Glastonbury Guardians

The Hall Titans will venture away from home to face off against the Glastonbury Guardians at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hall is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Hall came up short against Maloney and fell 21-14. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, Hall had strong showings from Tommy Hussey, who rushed for 51 yards and one score, and Jordan Scher, who picked up 44 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Glastonbury fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against New Britain on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 28-22 to the Golden Hurricanes.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Dante Casdia and Jayden Allen. Allen had a great game and rushed for 128 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Meanwhile, Casdia was balling out in the loss, rushing for 131 yards and one TD, while also picking up 44 receiving yards.

Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Glastonbury, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-3.

Hall strolled past Glastonbury in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 27-13. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Titans since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
