Baseball Recap: Mena Takes a Loss

If Mena was riding high fresh off their 7-1 takedown of Waldron on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bearcats wound up with the same score they had in their last game (7-1), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time. They haven't had much luck with the Apaches recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Mena's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Pottsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Mena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Pottsville, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Dardanelle on the 1st.
