After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Central Catholic finally came back down to earth on Friday. They lost 26-6 to Nelson. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Central Catholic's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Nelson, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Central Catholic and Nelson should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oregon Rankings. The Rams (ranked third) will meet Sandy (ranked 33rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Nelson will challenge Clackamas at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (8 vs. 41).
