John Paul II had lost five straight, but after bumping their record up to 8-9-2 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wilson Hall Barons. The Golden Warrriors not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 25th (when they won 3-0).

As for Wilson Hall, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-6. The shutout was out of character for they seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in August.

Despite the loss, Wilson Hall still got an impressive performance from Savannah Wells, who had eight digs and four aces.

John Paul II has already played their next matchup (against Trinity Collegiate), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Wilson Hall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Lee Academy on the 4th.
