Sheridan had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 34 points) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They breezed by the West Muskingum Tornadoes to the tune of 59-29. Given the Generals' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 89th, while the Tornadoes are ranked 241st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sheridan's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for West Muskingum, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-7.
