After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Heber Springs, Robinson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They skirted past the Mount St. Mary Academy Belles 7-6. That's more bragging rights for the Senators, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Ashley Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and five unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Mady Hokams was excellent, going 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. Lexi Rowe was another key player, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Robinson's win bumped their record up to 9-4. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Robinson will challenge Maumelle Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount St. Mary Academy, they will take on Greenbrier at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
