Volleyball Recap: Yelm Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Yelm lost against Graham-Kapowsin back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Tornados lost 3-0 to the Eagles. The Tornados have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Yelm had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 20 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Graham-Kapowsin was led to victory by Ana Sei and Kyla Kennedy. Sei had 14 assists and six digs, while Kennedy had 13 assists and five digs. Sei is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 14 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Yelm now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Graham-Kapowsin, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Yelm wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Olympia on the 30th. As for Graham-Kapowsin, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Puyallup on the 30th.
