Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Clinton Prairie). They blew past the Eastern Comets 91-49 on Friday. Given the Gophers' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Comets are ranked 320th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Clinton Prairie's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Eastern, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Clinton Prairie wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, an 83-51 win against Traders Point Christian on the 25th. As for Eastern, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 83-36 victory against Southern Wells on the 25th.
