Soccer Recap: Patton Gets the Win

After failing to score in their last matchup, Patton made sure to put some goals up on the board against Draughn on Friday. They never let the Wildcats get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Patton, who have now won five matches by six goals or more so far this season.

Patton's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Draughn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 1-3-2 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Patton will face off against CHASE at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Patton will be up against CHASE's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.88 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Draughn, they will challenge North Gaston at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. North Gaston will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Draughn surely won't give up without a fight.
