Sheldon entered their tilt with Pleasant Grove on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Pleasant Grove Eagles. This was payback for the Huskies, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Raghib Jami and Emmanuel Alvarez scored both of Sheldon's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Sheldon pushed their record up to 5-2-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four matchups. As for Pleasant Grove, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.
