Basketball Recap: Stevensville Comes Up Short

Stevensville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Frenchtown Broncs, falling 73-27. While losing is never fun, the Yellowjackets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 151st, while the Broncs are ranked 18th).

Stevensville's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Frenchtown, they pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Stevensville has already played their next matchup (against Beaverhead County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Frenchtown will head out to take on Hamilton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hamilton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53.2 points per game this season.
