Softball Recap: Bakersfield Wins Going Away Against Barstow

Bakersfield never let their opponents score on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Barstow Aztecs.

Serenity Hernandez-Alvidrez was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Aniyah Gordon, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Bakersfield's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Barstow, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Bakersfield wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-2 win against Porterville on the 29th. As for Barstow, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-6 loss against Delano on the 29th.
