Volleyball Game Preview: Mission Hills Grizzlies vs. La Costa Canyon Mavericks

Mission Hills is 0-5 against La Costa Canyon since September of 2018 but things could change on Monday. The Grizzlies are taking a road trip to face off against the Mavericks at 6:00 p.m. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Mission Hills sitting on three straight wins and La Costa Canyon on five.

On Wednesday, Mission Hills got the win against Oceanside by a conclusive 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-21, 25-15.

Mission Hills relied on the efforts of Jaelynn Le, who had 12 digs and two aces, and Ever Lanier, who had 11 assists.

Meanwhile, La Costa Canyon earned a 3-1 victory over Poway on Friday.

La Costa Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 19-25, 25-21, 25-14, 25-19.

Mission Hills' record now sits at 21-5. As for La Costa Canyon, their record is now 20-11.
