Soccer Game Preview: Estancia vs. Century

The Estancia Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the Century Centurions at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Estancia is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games.

On Wednesday, Estancia got the win against Bolsa Grande by a conclusive 5-1. With Estancia ahead 3-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Century, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over Rancho Alamitos on Wednesday.

Century's victory bumped their record up to 9-7-2. As for Estancia, their win bumped their record up to 12-2-1.

Estancia was able to grind out a solid victory over Century in their previous matchup two weeks ago, winning 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Eagles since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
