Meadville scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They received a blow as they fell 65-47 to the McDowell Trojans. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Trojans: they've now lost four in a row.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jacoby Thompson, who threw for 246 yards and four TDs on only 14 passes, and also rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries. Jordan Lawrence was another key back, rushing for 205 yards and one score while picking up 8.9 yards per carry.
