Volleyball Game Preview: Millis Mohawks vs. Norwood Mustangs

The Millis Mohawks will head out on the road to take on the Norwood Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Millis is looking for their season's first victory.

Millis lost 3-0 to Ashland on Thursday.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-5.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Mustangs on Thursday. Norwood fell just short of Medway by a score of 3-2.

Norwood actually scored more points across those five sets (100-92), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-17, 10-25, 17-25, 15-10.

Norwood now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Millis, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Millis beat Norwood 3-1 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mohawks since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
