Baseball Game Preview: Palm Harbor University Hurricanes vs. Osceola Warriors

For the second straight game, Palm Harbor University will face off against Osceola. Palm Harbor University will be playing in front of their home fans against Osceola at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Palm Harbor University is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Osceola just ended the team's eight-game winning streak on Monday. They fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Osceola's part, Luke Pembleton tossed a big game, striking out ten batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. That's the most strikeouts Pembleton has posted since back in February.

On the hitting side, Osceola saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Richard Stegbauer, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Palm Harbor University's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Osceola, they now have a winning record of 10-9.
