Meanwhile, Millard North faced Omaha Westside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 4-3. Millard North's loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Elkhorn South's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those four games. As for Millard North, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
