Volleyball Game Preview: Dreyfoos School of the Arts Jaguars vs. Forest Hill Falcons

Dreyfoos School of the Arts has gone 6-1 against Forest Hill recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matches after big wins in their previous games.

On Tuesday, Dreyfoos School of the Arts made easy work of Lake Worth Christian and carried off a 3-0 win.

Dreyfoos School of the Arts' got stronger as the match went on, holding Lake Worth Christian to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-22, 25-14.

Isabella Rigaud and Liv Wittmann were among the main playmakers for Dreyfoos School of the Arts as the former had ten digs and four aces and the latter had five digs and two aces. That's the most aces Rigaud has posted since back in August. Stella Russo also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Dreyfoos School of the Arts was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in three consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Forest Hill duked it out with Atlantic on Tuesday. The Falcons put the hurt on the Eagles with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-21, 25-16.

Forest Hill now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Dreyfoos School of the Arts, their victory bumped their record up to 10-2.

Everything went Dreyfoos School of the Arts' way against Forest Hill in their previous meeting back in September of 2023, as Dreyfoos School of the Arts made off with a 3-0 win.
