The San Jose Prep Storm won the last time they faced the Global Outreach Charter Academy Kodiaks, and things went their way on Monday too. San Jose Prep simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Global Outreach Charter Academy 63-26 at home. The win was all the more spectacular given San Jose Prep's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 391st, while Global Outreach Charter Academy is ranked 72nd).
Deiontaye Grant was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 10 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Desmond Williamson, who scored 9 points along with 3 steals.
The win got San Jose Prep back to even at 2-2. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 3-1.
San Jose Prep will be playing at home against North Florida Educational Institute at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Global Outreach Charter Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Johns Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
