Basketball Game Preview: Hanover Bears vs. Stark Generals

Hanover is on a four-game streak of home losses, Stark a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Tuesday. The Hanover Bears will host the Stark Generals at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Having struggled with nine losses in a row dating back to last season, Hanover turned things around against ConVal on Friday. They claimed a resounding 52-21 victory over the Cougars. The Bears' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Stark hadn't done well against Bow recently (they were 1-6 in their previous seven matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Stark breezed by Bow to the tune of 65-37.

Stark's win bumped their record up to 2-7. As for Hanover, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-8.

Hanover strolled past Stark in their previous matchup back in January of 2024 by a score of 46-29. Does Hanover have another victory up their sleeve, or will Stark turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
