Baseball Game Preview: Wicomico Indians vs. Parkside Rams

Wicomico is 0-10 against Parkside since May of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 4:00 p.m.

Wicomico is headed into Wednesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 14th straight game dating back to last season on Tuesday. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington.

Wicomico saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowen Okerblom, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. James Livezey also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parkside, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They never let Mardela get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won four contests by ten runs or more so far this season.

Parkside's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wicomico, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.
