Recap: East Pennsboro Panthers vs. Susquehanna Township HANNA
After losing to The Susquehanna Township HANNA the last time they met, the East Pennsboro Panthers decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. East Pennsboro skirted past Susquehanna Township 31-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for East Pennsboro.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead East Pennsboro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keith Oates iii, who threw for 206 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Oates iii is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last six games he's played. Jj Gossard was in the mix as well, providing East Pennsboro with two touchdowns.
East Pennsboro's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Susquehanna Township, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-3.
East Pennsboro will take on Waynesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waynesboro will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 304th, while East Pennsboro is ranked 117th). As for Susquehanna Township, they will head out on the road to face off against Gettysburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
