Basketball Recap: Brennan Ringhofer Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Palmetto Ridge

After losing to Palmetto Ridge the last time they met, Community School of Naples decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Community School of Naples Seahawks enjoyed a cozy 57-42 win over the Palmetto Ridge Bears on Saturday.

Community School of Naples' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennan Ringhofer, who went 5 of 8 en route to 15 points and seven assists. Ringhofer's afternoon made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jack London, who posted eight points along with ten boards and four blocks.

Ringhofer wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Community School of Naples was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Palmetto Ridge's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Juju Castillo, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds. Judah Lopez was another key player, as he made all 5 shots he took racking up 10 points and six boards.

Community School of Naples now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Palmetto Ridge, they moved to 15-8 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Community School of Naples has already played their next contest, a 58-47 win against Lely on the 28th. As for Palmetto Ridge, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 89-56 victory against Mariner on the 29th.
